The local play

The Oregon Coast eats most builders. We build for it.

A coastal custom home is a different engineering problem than an inland one. Salt air corrodes standard fasteners. Wind drives moisture through any envelope detail that's even slightly wrong. The Pacific weather window for cosmetic exterior work is narrow.

NW Premier Carpentry builds Oregon Coast residences with stainless fasteners throughout, double-stud walls where wind pressure demands it, ipe and weather-resistant cedar exterior, and a project schedule that respects the weather. Our coastal builds are designed to look new in twenty years — not five.

Featured project

The Haystack Bluff House.

Second home on a windward bluff in Cannon Beach. 3,600 square feet. Weather-engineered exterior with stainless fasteners, double-stud walls, ipe decking. The owners wanted it to feel weightless. We built it to outlast the bluff.
